We believe that to gain insight on a place, it's important to truly learn and integrate within their culture, traditions, and way of life.
While our focus has shifted from international travel to everyday life on the Big Island of Hawaii, we encourage visitors to explore + understand the Hawaiian culture at a deeper and intimate level. This beautiful place has so many cultural traditions that we have learned while living here. We are so excited to share this beautiful local culture + reveal opportunities for travelers to experience what life is really like on the island. After hustling through the busy cities in Colombia, we found the perfect town to settle down for a few days in Jardín. We were able get away from the city hustle, enjoy the brightly colored houses, start our mornings slow, mimic the locals drinking coffee and gathering in the main plaza, and explore the incredibly lush landscape.
After volunteering at this orphanage in Colombia, we were invited to a traditional Quinceanera for one of the girls.
